WINNER’s Kang Seungyoon is joining the upcoming MBC drama “Tomorrow”!
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Tomorrow” will tell the story of Choi Joon Woong (played by SF9‘s Rowoon), who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.
On January 20,2022, it was revealed that WINNER’s Kang Seungyoon will make a special appearance in the live adaptation. He has recently participated in the filming, and additional filming schedules are planned. He is expected to deliver an impressive performance in an important role.
One of the directors of “Tomorrow”, Sung Chiwook, and Seungyoon had previously worked in 2020 MBC drama “Kairos”.
“Tomorrow” is slated to premiere in March 2022 and expected to replace “Tracer” which is currently airing Fridays & Saturdays at 10PM KST.

Back in December of 2021, a photo of Seungyoon was posted filming for the drama.
From this, fans speculated that Seungyoon will play a Busker/Guitarist named Kang Woojin who loses his wife & fingers in an accident. He lost all his family in accidents & blames himself. The Ghost Wife asks the Crisis Management Team (led by Kim Hee Sun’s character) to help him move on. Seungyoon’s character’s arc is featured in episodes 23-35 of the webtoon.
The live adaptation will have 16 episodes to be broadcasted in MBC and Netflix. The cast is led by Kim Hee Sun, SF9’s Ro Woon & Lee Soo Hyuk.
On January 19, 2022, MBC uploaded the script reading video for the drama and some eagle-eyed fans spotted a seat labelled for Kang Seungyoon who’ll be playing Kang Woojin!
