Kang Seungyoon attended the 2020 MBC Drama Awards held on December 30, 2020 along with the KAIROS director, Park Seungwoo and fellow actors Shin Sungrok, Ahn Bohyun, Nam Gyuri, Lee Joomyung and Ko Kyu-pil.
Seungyoon was nominated for the “Best New Actor Award,” for his touching performance as Im Geonwook in KAIROS. The award went to Ahn Bohyun for his role in KAIROS. It was a exciting night for the KAIROS Team as they bagged 3 awards including the Top Excellence Award won by Shin Sungrok & the Excellence Award won by Nam Gyuri and were nominated for 11 awards in all, including the Drama of the Year !
