PLAC X MINOYOON S/S 2020 Collection: ‘PLAC by YOU’

PLAC by ‘YOU‘ , the 2020 Summer / Spring collection is a collaboration between PLAC and WINNER’s Yoon & Mino. Both Yoon & Mino participated in designing the collection, using their own logos, motifs and artwork. The collection consisted of denim jackets, t-shirts, jeans, caps, key rings, etc.

The collection was meant to have a showcase event, which also displayed their photography-cum-artwork and included short talks by them on Feb 28, 2020. However, it was canceled due to the safety issues of COVID pandemic. PLAC said that a portion of the money to run the showcase was used to donate 10,000 masks for low-income children.

PLAC by ‘YOU‘ X MINOYOON collaboration showed strong sales especially the cropped denim (more than 6000 pcs sold) & denim jacket (sold out). The sales of the 1st collection amounted to 300 millions KRW in retail (only for overseas order). Domestic and offline sales totaled about 600 millions KRW.
