[NEWS] 131011 YG Pop-up Store Opens Today, To Launch WIN Merchandise

YG Entertainment is opening their brand’s pop-up store in Seoul for a week, launching the first merchandise of their new artists in survival TV show “WHO IS NEXT : WIN.”

The temporary store is opening at the first floor of Myeongdong Lotte Young Plaza in Seoul from Friday to next Thursday, the major K-pop agency said in a press release Thursday.

Along with existing merchandise of YG artists, a total of six kinds of merchandise regarding 11 members of “WIN” will be introduced on site, including T-shirts, snapback, tote back, coin wallet, image picket and stickers.

It will also be the first time for YG fans to purchase goods from G-Dragon’s recent exhibition “G-Dragon Space 8,” Seungri’s latest EP “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE” and YG’s mascot YG BEAR.

“WIN” is the 10-part show aims to select YG’s rookie boy band out of two teams, the company’s first time in seven years to introduce a boy band since K-pop heavyweight Big Bang.

In the first round of fan vote, Team A, consisting of Song Minho, Kim Jinwoo, Lee Sunghoon, Nam Taehyun and Kang Seungyoon, beat out Team B, formed of B.I, Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, Song Yoonhyung, Koo Joonhoi and Kim Donghyuk.
